This module provides a range of information about Academies.  It includes:

• a comparison between the old and new style academies

• an exploration of the financial issues relating to academies

• a description of the conversion process

• the establishment of an Academy Trust

• the structure and role of the governing body

We suggest you allow approximately 30 minutes to work through the module and a further 15 minutes to complete the learning review.
