Within each of these areas there are a number of criteria against which the school will be judged. The effectiveness of the leadership and management of the school includes the work of the governing body and covers the following:

• how well the school’s leadership has engaged with distinctive Christian values in developing the vision for the school;

• how well the vision is understood by all stakeholders;

• how well leaders and managers ensure that the vision is put into practice by all members of the school community;

• how well leaders and managers are preparing for the future leadership of the school;

• the effectiveness of the partnership between the school, the church and the wider community, including parents.
